In the winter of 2008, my energy bills were going through the roof, so in an effort to lower them, I replaced my twenty-three year old furnace. But there was no drastic reduction in my heating bills. So I decided to add insulation...In January, while researching energy websites, I found information about Save With Insulation. I set up an appointment to speak to a representative about the Owens Corning fiberglass product they represent. When their representative Kirk stopped to see me, I was impressed with his background and his focused and succinct presentation. There was no lengthy sales pitch or repeated call-backs to see if I'd made a decision. I did decide, shortly thereafter, and when my first heating bill arrived, I was convinced it was a fluke and the following month's bill would be appreciably higher. Not so. After three months my heating bills are substantially lower. When I called Kirk to tell him how satisfied I was, I asked if I should add more insulation over the garage as one (different company's) salesman had suggested. "No," he replied, "your insulation is where it should be." Kirk also informed me that my air conditioning bills would be lower because the insulation keeps the cool air from escaping through the roof. I'm eager to see my energy bills this summer. So far this year, I've saved $700 on every charges.

The company estimated an insulation upgrade for our 1920 farmhouse. It included R-19 plus R-30 level insulation blown into the attic, R-30 for the flat ceiling, R-30 for a smaller attic section and R-19 for the the crawl space (for a 2888 sq. ft. house). The install crew arrived promptly to perform the estimate, explained the entire process, and provided me with options and cost guidance so that I could pace the process. The actual work is scheduled for November 7th and 11th and I am certain the job will be done right. I am looking forward to a warmer house and decreased propane bills!

Our sales person, Lee, was very thorough in seeing what we needed. The estimate was considerably higher than another company ($1200 versus $450), but provided more insulation and more safety features (such as covers for inset lights, bathroom fans, etc.). A contractor told me he used this company himself, which gave me additional confidence in their work. Workers arrived close to on time. They were very conscientious about covering all the furniture in the rooms they were working in or needed to use for attic access. Took longer than I expected (4+ hours). Hoping to be very snug this winter.

The company came to my house and insulated my ceiling, walls, and crawl space. It went well. We have used their services before, and we chose them again because they are knowledgeable and have fair prices. It took them three days to do the work. They cleaned up after. We are satisfied and are having them come back to do more work.

The company added insulation to bring the attic up to a R-49 and the garage to a R-19. They also blew insulation in vaulted areas to the best of their ability to add additional insulation. Great job! Everyone from start to finish was very professional. We couldn't even tell they were at our home. There wasn't a trace left behind.

The company installed vent protection, blew R-30 insulation in the attic, extended our bath fan hose and sealed around it and furnace fresh air pipe in attic as well as kitchen fan vent; installed blow stops around attic ladder access. All personnel were courteous, very pleasant, knowledgeable, patient with this elderly lady, professional and thorough. They arrived early, looked over the access and attic and proceeded to go right to work. I highly recommend them.

We had an excellent experience with the company. The estimator scheduled a time to come out two days after we called, and the work was scheduled for the following week. The price quoted was in line with what I expected for the job, and the final cost was what was quoted in the estimate. The service team arrived precisely on time the day the work was scheduled. Because of the complexity of the house, work took one-half day longer than originally estimated, but I very much appreciated their thoroughness. The quality of work was excellent and the materials used were first-rate. The technicians on the job were very professional, neat, answered all questions and took care to disrupt things as little as possible. We would gladly use them again for any insulation project.

We had two estimates for increasing the insulation in attic and crawl spaces. We went with this company because their recommendations matched the Dept. of Energy's. The recommendations were fully explained; the work was done on time and efficiently. This winter will be the proof of the pudding.
